Payment process The university's financial department ("Unikasse") pays supported invoices directly to the publisher. In the case of proportional funding, the process differs depending on wether the authors are affiliated with the university or with the university hospital ("UKB"). University: The Unikasse splits the invoice and books one part on the WBS element of the fund and the other part on the WBS element (PSP-Element) of the applicant's institute. UKB: The Unikasse makes an advance payment over the full amount of the invoice. It will then contact the contact named in the application to organise an internal settlement of the author's institute's contribution. Please note that a subsequent refund of payments already made is not possible. Submit
